Vassilis is a dual qualified lawyer, admitted to the Athens bar and registered in the Brussels bar (E list). He advises clients on a broad range of EU and national law affairs, making use of the skills he has developed in the private practice and the European Union Institutions. He serves as an Of Counsel for CMS at their EU Law Office in Brussels and is affiliated with other selected law firms.Vassilis worked as a legal officer in the European Commission in Brussels, dealing inter alia with state aid, privatisations and corporate restructuring.Before joining the European Commission, Vassilis practised law in Athens, counselling multinational and domestic clients of various industries with a focus on corporate and commercial law and litigation.
